This time, the journey began with a diagnosis of Asperger Syndrome, a form of Autism for Sean. “Don’t worry too much,” they told me, “many successful people have it and it doesn’t get in the way.”
Now I start to learn, and so much of what I learn does not make sense.
My son does not need to be cured, he is not broken, he did not come in wrong! He does not need drugs and medication to function.
There is a different way.
